Hall Associates, Inc. manages and leases over 1.6 million square feet of space in the Roanoke Valley and surrounding areas, in addition to over 1,400 units of residential and multi-family. The vast diversity of our experience in the industry led us to the expansion and natural progression into condominium and homeowners association management.
Although Hall Associates is relatively new to this field, we are committed to putting forth all of our vast resources into excelling in this area. Our team currently manages Burwell Place HOA in Salem, Chatham Condominiums in Roanoke City, Kenwick Place HOA and The UOA of Pheasant Ridge Condos in South Roanoke County. Our Association Manager has attended HOA/POA related seminars to build our knowledge in this area and plans to attend CAI classes in 2008 in Association Management. We have a well established management base of all types of real estate.
Our management staff has over 30 years of combined experience in managing property, fielding maintenance requests/complaints, contacting and overseeing vendors to ensure work is completed correctly and in a timely manner, reviewing and coding invoices for processing, reviewing monthly financial statements to distribute to owners and communicating with property owners to provide the highest level of service. Chrissy Greene, Director of Association Management, has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from Virginia Tech and has been with Hall Associates for over 11 years. Nikki Morgan, Association Manager, attended Virginia Western and Mary Baldwin College and is currently studying Communication and Business.
Our accounting staff has over 60 years of combined experience in establishing bank accounts, reconciling bank statements, processing rents, payments and invoices, maintaining insurance certificates for vendors and/or contractors, preparing monthly cash flow, balance and budget reports and many other accounting related functions.
Hall staff has access to an in-house accounting software program that is fully equipped to monitor and track work orders by vendor, date, status, individual unit or the property as a whole. The work orders are differentiated by open, scheduled, in progress or completed. The system also has the capability of producing invoices, so if for example, a homeowner was to be charged back for an expense assumed by the POA or HOA, the proper documentation can easily be generated and tracked.
The same software program is capable of maintaining multiple bank accounts for the same POA/HOA. If for example, the association has a general fund, as well as a reserve fund and/or catastrophe fund, multiple financial reports can be produced to show the various account debits, credits and balances. The system is also designed to set up a budget for the property and run budget comparisons between projected and actual figures on each month, as well as year-to-date.
